The COVID-19 pandemic has negatively affected sales in the automotive industry overall. Despite the current situation, Hyundai has continued to see a sales growth, selling 1 percent more in July 2020 than in July 2019.
Hyundai also increased retail sales by 4 percent in July 2020, making it the third month in a row for retail sales growth. In the first six months of this year, Hyundai had the largest retail market share gain, increasing by almost a full point.
