In the new 2020 KONA Electric, the navigation system display has grown from eight inches to 10.25 inches on premium models. This touch screen will include Blue Link® services, traffic flow and incident data via HD Radio.
The 2020 KONA Electric features an improved and powerful electric propulsion system with a 258-mile range for varied lifestyle needs.* The powertrain employs a high-efficiency 201 horsepower permanent-magnet synchronous electric motor, which distributes 291 lb-ft of torque to the front wheels.
The KONA Electric’s battery warmer is now standard on all Limited models and above. The battery warmer system helps prevent excessively long battery-charging intervals in cold temperatures and when placed in Winter Mode, the battery warmer can minimize battery-power losses due to low temperatures.
Drive Mode Select
The KONA Electric offers Drive Mode Select, which lets you customize dynamic responses like steering feel, transmission and overall powertrain responsiveness to your personal preference. You can also customize these modes to match the changing road or traffic conditions. The KONA Electric comes with three driving modes — Comfort, Eco and Sport — that tailors the vehicle to drive to your preference and purpose.
