Last month, the Hyundai Accent and the Hyundai Tucson took home two of AutoPacific’s Vehicle Satisfaction awards for the Hyundai brand. Each year, AutoPacific fields its New Vehicle Satisfaction Survey to determine which vehicles have the best quality, reliability, and overall satisfaction of drivers.
Sedan & SUV Wins
Specifically, the Hyundai Accent earned the Best In Class Economy Car award while the Hyundai Tucson took home the award for Best In Class Compact Crossover Sport Utility Vehicle.
“Customer satisfaction is central to everything we do, and this recognition from Hyundai owners through third-party industry leader AutoPacific affirms our commitment,” remarked John Simmons, senior group manager, Product Planning, Hyundai Motor America.
Both models are seeing exciting updates for the 2020 model year. The Hyundai Tucson CUV, for example, gets a new range of exterior colors to choose from. Some of its content has also been repackaged. The affordable Hyundai Accent economy car is motivated by an entirely new engine: a Smartstream G1.6 Dual Port Injection (DPI) engine, paired with a Smartstream Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT). This has led to an increase in the Accent’s fuel economy over the 2019 model year.
AutoPacific has been in the business for a while, backing up these awards with serious credentials. The group has conducted more than 4,000 focus groups internationally and more than 300 vehicle product clinics.
These award winning Hyundai vehicles and many more are available to test drive at Gossett Hyundai South.
